Make your journey part of the adventure! Board a vintage, diesel-powered train at Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton and travel more than 52 scenic miles to downtown East Stroudsburg.


The train excursion runs from 9:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. and includes a three-hour stop at Pickle Me Poconos, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the food, vendors, activities, live entertainment, beer garden, and more. Festival admission is free for train passengers.

While you’re at the festival, climb aboard the Water Gap Limited for a 90-minute scenic train ride from East Stroudsburg through the Delaware Water Gap. Enjoy beautiful views and live onboard narration about the region’s landscape, wildlife, and railroad history during this special one-day-only excursion.

  • Is there an admission fee?

    No! Pickle Me Poconos is free and open to the public.

  • Is the event family-friendly?

    Absolutely! Guests of all ages are welcome to enjoy the festival.

  • Where is the festival held?

    The event takes place in Downtown East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.

  • Where can I park?

    Public parking is available. There will also  be a designated parking lot at East Stroudsburg University. The Monroe County Transit Authority Shuttle will pick up festival goers at LOT 23 (located at 160 South Green Street) They will then drop you off at the corner of Analomink and Crystal St! Both the shuttle and borough meters are FREE! 

  • How can I become a vendor or sponsor?

  • Is the event rain or shine?

    Yes! Pickle Me Poconos is a rain or brine event.

  • What is the best address to use for the GPS?

    50 Crystal St., East Stroudsburg, PA 18301

  • Are dogs allowed?

    Yes! We love our four-legged friends. They must be on a leash throughout the festival and please pick up after your pup.

  • I received a message from someone claiming to be with Pickle Me Poconos Event Coordination. How do I know if it's real?

    Only Pocono Chamber Staff with an email ending in @poconochamber.org will take payment and applications. They will never ask for it over Facebook or to personal payment accounts. When in doubt, give us a call at (570) 421-4433.
